A family event for a family day!
Come and get some fresh air before the big meal! This is a low key event- definitely NOT intended to take up your entire day! Come out for some exercise with your family and guests and get back home to your day!
What people love about this race is we have have the entire range of participants- from some super fast racers to people walking a gentle pace with their dogs.
It's just nice to do a community event that helps the local homeless shelter- what a perfect fit for Thanksgiving!
While many folks are thinking about their place settings, some people don't have a home or spot to call their own. Let's help them get back on their feet and going in the right direction!
We all have a lot to be grateful for!
Same MENU pricing for last NINE years!
Entry, timing chip and shirt are separate- to keep it affordable.
We want to make this an event that the entire family can come out and enjoy and be together on Thanksgiving Day!
BTW.... if you know any people from work, school or church without a place to go on Thanksgiving, why not include them as well! Just tell them to meet up at the Stampede! It will make their day!

Did I mention Volunteers get some really nice swag...?
This location is fantastic because of the easy access just off 20- so heading over is just a snap.
Please join us on Thanksgiving for a fantastic community event! We will be out at Concord Mall again in 2018!
This is not intended to be a long event because we know you have things to do and friends and family to be with! However, you will find the food tastes so much better when you work up an appetite!
AND- let's not forget that this is Thanksgiving! Thanks to our sponsors, every dime you spend goes to help Elkhart County homeless get back on their feet with housing, clothing, 1:1 counseling, programs, transportation and job leads.
* Same great choices of courses- 10K, 5K and Mile walk; 10K includes the 5K course but adds a few miles of country roads where you can really open up. 5K is in lovely Green Valley neighborhood, and Mile walk stays close to the action around the mall.
* Everyone loved the course last year because it allowed the fastest exit plan. Truthfully, there are several ways to get out, so you can get on with your day!
* Dozens of indoor restrooms and 10 outdoor porta potties this year, so no waiting in line!
* Monster Message will be displaying results on the big screen!
2018: Same course as 2017 - With the course, it is even easier to exit after the race. Park on the Carsons/Big R side of the mall for a fast getaway!
Triathlete Becca Johnson will be our Turkey Mascot again this year!
Here is how this works. Becca will get a XX (TBD) second head start to account for the heavy and bulky costume. We do a calculation based on 7 factors to come up with this.
Then- the gun goes off with the rest of the runners. The first male and female to pass her will win $25 cash.
It's all based on the honor system.
