Memorial Health & Lifestyle will be the title sponsor for two upcoming local triathlons;  Eagle Lake Triathlon, August 6 in Edwardsburg, MI   and the Niles Triathlon to be held September 3 in Niles, Mi at Barron Lane.

First if anyone has tried to plan an outdoor event around here in the last month, you know what a white knuckle ride that has been. We totally lucked out again in the weather department with some cooler temps and cloud cover. Perfect running weather.

Around 475 people participated in the Kids Run, 5K Run/Walk 10K and 15K as well as the new quarter walkathon course.  

Estimates on the results indicate that it looks like this event will fund at least 55 kids to go to camp for a week. [ Camp is earned through showing/meeting consistent goals.]

We are so grateful to all the athletes and volunteers! Have a fantastic weekend.

Local running legend, John Roscoe, will be coaching Lifeline youth in a pilot program starting on Tuesday evenings, April 12- May 24. The program will run seven weeks, culminating in the opportunity to participate in a 5K at Two Rivers Meet.

Training will be held in Lundquist and Island parks on Tuesday evenings from 4pm - 5pm in Elkhart, IN.

There is no charge for young people, age 5th grade and up. All levels are welcome. However, we highly encourage consistency if they want to see results.

Roscoe has a distinguished running career including two Hall of Fame titles, six times All State, 25th in Steeple Chase (in the world), the Olympic marathon trials, to name just a few of his very long list of athletic achievements.

We are thrilled beyond words to have someone of Mr. Roscoe's caliber willing to coach our first running club!
