This is a fun, multi-generational event with a lovely Monster Mile Trail Walk option, a 5K run or walk, 10K Run or a Half Marathon run.
This is such a feel-good event and all for a great group of people- the Elkhart County Down Syndrome Support Group! Please come out and celebrate Halloween with us and bring your friends!

This is our 2017 hybrid course, which is the best of both worlds. If you park on the Carsons side of the mall or in the Big R parking lot, you can get out quickly and easily!

6:30 am Registration and packet pick up opens
8:30 am 10K Run
8:35 am 5K Run
8:40 am 5K Walk
8:45 am 1 mile walk
Everyone will receive a finisher momento when they cross the line. We have top three MF awards ( the coveted gravy boats) for the fastest men and women in the 5K and 10K which we hand out right away. There is no formal awards ceremony, no age group awards or awards ceremony because we know everyone has things to do!

Start the Year out on a High Note!
Come out on New Years Day- it's not too early, so even if you were up until 1 or 2AM the night before, you can still get some good rest and enjoy being with your buds to start the year off right.
The race benefits the Middlebury Food Pantry and serves about 200 + working families. This time of year, people can be stretched with plant shut downs and holiday spending.
It will be a great day! Plenty of space indoors to stay warm, indoor restrooms and a lovely path. Our base is the Essen Haus Conference Center!
Come out and meet some great, fun people from the two local running clubs. If you are not already in a group, this is a great chance to meet some new friends. Both groups have super nice people of all levels, so you can find some new people to train with !!! Speedsters to newbies.
If you are not ready to dive in, you could also volunteer for some events to see if you might want to join in!

Triple Threat Triathlon team is made up of people just getting off the couch to world class athletes from Niles, South Bend, Warsaw, Goshen, Elkhart, Plymouth and beyond. Meetings September to May and year-round training opportunities.
